About...
ARTWORK EXHIBITED IN THE CONNECTIONS SHOW
With this series, I'm focussing on the different aspects of the connections we create everyday. I'm asking you to look deeper, and realize that everything starts from within. ..realizing the importance of self love, and the consequences of the lack of it. Being at piece with the humans we are, is what defines us as part of the society. Understanding who we are is the key to successful interaction with the world around us.

BIOGRAPHY
Iva Trifonova (°1994; Byala, Bulgaria) is a self-taught contemporary artist with a passion for portraying abstract female figurative works utilizing different materials in art.
Growing up in the Bulgarian countryside, Trifonova first discovered her talent by sketching her surroundings, including local architecture, people, and daily life. She then flew across the world to the United States to seek opportunities in her passions for her studio practice. Experiencing immigrant life from the female perspective, she has found refuge in the creation of art.
Through her work Iva advocates on how art is not just a process of creation, but a mechanism for bringing about change. She has participated in art walks, solo and group exhibitions, as well as commission pieces. Her ambitions are to be a part of the Seattle art community through her feminine perspective on life itself. She currently works and resides in Seattle, Washington.
